PRAYER

"When a trumpet sounds in a city,
   do not the people tremble?

When disaster comes to a city,
   has not the LORD caused it?

Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing
without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."
{Amos 3:6-7}

This is what the LORD says:

“As a shepherd rescues from the lion’s mouth
only two leg bones or a piece of an ear, so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued, with only the head of a bed and a piece of fabric from a couch.
{Amos 3:12}

He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind,
and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth—the LORD God Almighty is his name. {Amos 4:13}

I'll be praying for all who were affected by last evenings storms. I ask that you pray with me and that we all remember that the Lord is always present even in our times of trouble and destruction.

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” {Deuteronomy 31:8}

Blessings
Lisa
