This week the temperatures are supposed to drop into the thirties by the end of the week. I believe that is a record low for our area this time of year. After getting dressed this morning I knew I wanted to go out and soak up the beauty of my garden...to enjoy the blooms before the cold weather creeps in.
This yellow beauty is planted on the right front corner of the house and it gets direct sunlight.
This one is planted in the back corner bed and receives part shade. The fragrance is so strong it's like sniffing a beautiful perfume.
This one also gets full sun and gives off the most beautiful blooms, that is when the grasshoppers are not chomping away at the buds!
This red Geranium has struggled all summer long. I think I'm going to transfer it to a larger pot and see if it survives the winter. I've had pretty good success in the past with Geraniums.
It continues to amaze me how God gave each and every plant a unique way of showing us just how Majestic and Wondrous He is. To be able to create such beauty……
I can't wait to see what comes back next Spring. It's always a sweet surprise.
Blessings
How wonderful to still have a beautiful garden going! I need to bring my geraniums inside for winter too, but they stopped doing anything a while ago. I hope you enjoy the change in the weather!
